Our treats and creations are carefully prepared by myself and they are all 100% homemade.

Who’s behind our small tearoom in Quiberon?

With passion and enthusiasm, Mathilde and Isabelle invite you to share delicious moments around their sweet and savory creations, lovingly prepared with authenticity and care. Discover a few words from Mathilde:

“We ran our own bakery and pastry shop for 20 years, and homemade creations was always our priority. I love delighting customers by offering high-quality sweet treats and more — and of course greeting everyone with a friendly smile at the same time.

I found that same spirit at Les Amis de Chouquette when we arrived in Quiberon, a town close to my heart.I found that same spirit once again with ’L’ESCALE Gourmette and with Isabelle – I’m sure she will delight all our customers.” 

As for me, I am Isabelle, Quiberonian at heart, with a true gourmet spirit. I created L’ESCALE Gourmette, a cosy little tearoom overlooking the sea, designed as a warm and and welcoming place where you can enjoy a sweet or savoury break with our homemade creations.
By my side is Mathilde, who joined the adventure in 2024 along with Mathieu. Today, the two of us form a complementary team at L’ESCALE Gourmette, brought together by the same desire: to delight your taste buds.
